Credentialed Medical Coders (CMC) offers two core courses furnished by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). AAPC is one of the two largest credentialing agents in the world. Acquiring a certification from the AAPC puts you in the best position for fast and certain employment.
The two course are as follows:
CPC - Certified Professional Coder
CPC - Certified Professional Coder
The Certified Professional Coder (CPC) course prepares you for with professional healthcare providers. This means you are expertly trained by our Instructors to code for a physician, nurse practitioner, surgeon, physician assistant, etc. in any healthcare environment (hospital, clinic, office, etc.).
CPC coders also move into auditor, trainer, and educator roles as their skills develop.
Open for enrollment:
CRC - Certified Risk Adjustment Coder
CRC - Certified Risk Adjustment Coder
Although Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) is a shorter course, it packs as big a punch as the CPC. In fact, it is also a core course focused on diagnosis coding for the purpose of auditing patients' risk scores for CMS. We'll get further into that during your course, but most Risk Adjustment coding work opportunities are performed remotely (from home), which is super convenient!
