Objectives: Completion of the Risk Adjustment Coder course is aimed at training Coders for AAPC certification, and to acquire the following skills: 1. Read a medical chart and assign the correct diagnosis (ICD10CM) codes for a wide variety of clinical cases and services 2. Understand risk adjustment models (e.g., HCC, CDPS, and HHS Risk Adjustment) 3. Learn Predictive Modeling and become capable of performing analytical reviews on known data 4. Learn how to identify clinical documentation barriers and their solutions
