CPC - Certified Professional Coder

Objectives: Completion of the Certified Professional Coder course is aimed at training Coders for AAPC certification, and to acquire the following skills: Develop skills in reviewing and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnosis, procedures, and services performed by physicians and/or other qualified healthcare professionals Become proficient across a wide range of services and specialties Develop a sound knowledge of medical coding rules and regulations, including compliance and reimbursement, establishing medical necessity, claim denial management, and bundling issues Comprehend and practice proper modifier assignment
